Senior Director of Marketing for the E. &J. Gallo Winery of Modesto, Calif. The Winery, co-founded by her grandfather Ernest and great-uncle Julio nearly 75 years ago, is now the largest family-owned winery in the world, exporting wine to 90 countries. Ms. Gallo brings her passion for wine and commitment to family to her job marketing the Gallo Family Vineyards brands to a broad spectrum of consumers around the world.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in government and international studies from Notre Dame in 1994 and her master’s of business administration from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She served Notre Dame as a Young Graduate Trustee from 1996-1999 and as a member of the Advisory Council for Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business from 1999-2002. She remains active with Kellogg as a student mentor and guest speaker. Ms. Gallo is involved in her community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Human Services and is a regular speaker on women in business, family business and the importance of community giving. For her work in the family business and the community, she was named 2007 Young Entrepreneur of the Year by California State University Stanislaus.
Ms. Gallo lives in her hometown of Modesto with husband Chris Tyler and daughter Amelia.
